Murder suspect surrenders to police

Five days after a man was shoot and killed, the suspect surrendered to police Feb. 11, according to the Beaumont Police Department (BPD).Charles Siggers, 18, turned himself in on an outstanding murder warrant related to a Feb. 6 homicide.
Marco Gamez, indicted in 2021 for sexual assault, was set to take a plea Feb. 10, but confirmed ready for trial instead.
