A Silsbee man was arrested in connection with multiple burglaries and vehicle break-ins after being identified through surveillance footage, according to the Silsbee Police Department.
Darius Jamar Hageon, 33, was arrested March 12 on four counts of burglary of a vehicle, two counts of burglary of a building and one count of criminal mischief involving $2,500 to $30,000. Bond was set at $31,000, and he remains in the Hardin County Jail.
Investigators additionally identified Hageon as the person captured on video burglarizing the Silsbee Public Library on two occasions. The footage also linked him to other vehicle burglaries reported in January.
