Suspects nabbed in Hardin County

A man remains in jail after he was arrested on drug charges, according to a jail report from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.Duane Eric Gilbert, 46, was arrested April 15 by the Texas Department of Public Safety on three counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.

OC woman arrested in icepick stabbing

Misty Nicole Sparks, 40, was arrested April 17 in connection with a stabbing in Deweyville, authorities said.Sparks is accused of stabbing a man with an icepick. She was taken into custody about 10 p.m. by the Orange Police Department, according to Newton County Sheriff Colton Havard.

Traffic stop nets drugs, guns and $200K

April 14, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the seizure of narcotics, firearms and a large amount of cash following a traffic stop.A Highway Interdiction Unit deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding on Interstate 10. A K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics, leading to a search.

A man was arrested April 14 after a robbery at a Beaumont grocery store, according to the Beaumont Police Department.Officers were dispatched at 10:39 a.m. to Market Basket, 8350 Phelan Blvd., for a theft in progress.

Narcotics investigation leads to arrests, weapon seizure

April 10, three men were arrested on drug-related charges after a narcotics search warrant was executed, according to the Beaumont Police Department (BPD).At about 5 p.m., the department’s Narcotics Unit, with assistance from SWAT, executed the warrant in the 1200 block of Avenue H.

BPD identifies burglary suspects

Beaumont police stated that four suspects who forced entry into the Mobile Zone cell phone store at College Street and Fourth Street have been “potentially identified.”The burglary occurred about 4 a.m. April 13. The suspects reportedly stole phones and electronics valued to to $50,000.

Jail report shows recent arrests
