No arrests have been made in an April 7 shooting in the 1000 block of Ruby Lane in Orange.Officers responded about 7:50 p.m. to reports of gunfire and possible injuries, reported Sgt. Isaac T. Henry III of the Orange Police Department (OPD).Officers located a teenage victim with a gunshot wound.

Suspect in custody for arson death

A person of interest in the arson death of a Beaumont woman was taken into custody April 9. The Beaumont Police Department reported Tyron Isadore, 28, is cooperating with investigators.Officers were called about 1:34 p.m.

Detectives recovered a firearm believed to have been used in the assault, along with two additional loaded firearms. Investigators also seized suspected narcotics, including cocaine, crack cocaine, tramadol, promethazine, and marijuana.
