Dec. 7, officers with the Port Arthur Police Department Narcotics and Guns Unit followed up on a tip of suspected gang members armed with handguns hanging out in an apartment complex in the city. The suspect vehicle, driven by a man identified as Nikolas Brentshawn Foreman, 22, was located.

The Southeast Texas COVID-19 infusion clinic is back open as of Tuesday, Feb. 8, according to Jefferson County Judge Jeff Branick. “We just got 144 doses of monoclonal antibody therapy and are re-opening immediately and rescheduling patients for infusions,” Branick said just before lunch Tuesday.
