A jury in Orange County has sentenced a Port Arthur man to life in prison for murder. 42-year-old Darious ReShard Stevenson has been sentenced for the July 2021 shooting death of Brennon Flores. Flores died from a gunshot wound to the chest in the 1200 block of Shamrock in Vidor. With the assistance of witnesses, deputies were able locate and make a traffic stop on Stevenson. After obtaining a search warrant oficers located the gun believed to have been used in the homicide. Stevenson admitted to arresting law enforcement officers that he was present when Flores was murdered.
