Beaumont police are investigating a Saturday, Oct 3, 2026 shooting in the 800 bloc of Center Street. Officeres arrived on the scene at 11:05 pm and found a 17-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound, She was transported to the hospital for treatment. A second victim, a 17-year-old male was transported by private vehicle and later transferred to a Houston hospital in crictical condition.
Police say several shots were fired during a homecoming party. Detectives believe numerous people witnessed the incident and cellphone videos and photos were taken. Many people at the scene were uncooperative with the investigation.
