May 30, Roderick Hardin, 48, and James Martin Jr., 43, both of Beaumont, were arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation.
At 1:25 a.m., Beaumont Police Department (BPD) officers responded to the 500 block of Elgie Street in reference to a burglary in progress. They detained two adult men, who were allegedly actively removing items from the residence.
Hardin’s bond was set at $6,000; Martin’s bond was set at $7,000.
