The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) began May with a woman arrested on seven charges, according to an HCSO jail report.
Michelle Doreen Jackson, 58, was arrested May 1, and all seven charges stem from 2025 cases in Hardin and Jefferson counties. Jackson was charged with four counts of burglary of a vehicle with previous convictions from Jefferson County in August 2025, along with theft of property ($2,500-$30,000), possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence in Hardin County. Her total bond was $120,000.

May 5: Gerri Anitra Dixon, 40, resisting arrest (Silsbee police) with a $5,000 bond; Bailey Elizabeth Strain-Middleton, 29, possession of a controlled substance.
May 4: Dakota Lee Armentrout, 28, three counts of intoxication assault with a vehicle with no bond; Jordan Jay Weinberg, 20, possession of drug paraphernalia; Shimirah Simone Slaughter, 35, burglary of vehicles.
May 3: Joshua David Yeary, 20, deadly conduct.
May 2: Brandon Scott Soffes, 38, indecency with a child-sexual contact; Jason Ray Thomas, 21, unlawfully carrying a weapon.
May 1: Curt William Ezell, 33, theft of a firearm, burglary of a building, theft of property ($2,500-$30,000) and theft of material less than $20,000 with a $170,000 bond; George Byron Watson Jr., 59, possession of a controlled substance; Michael Wayne Frederick, 54, theft of property ($100-$750) with a $2,000 bond; Dustin Leigh Bergeron, 41, engaging in criminal activity with a $15,000 bond; Clayton Jack Underwood, 39; Melvin Kenneth Shavers, 68; and Lorna Jerene Oakley, 42, each charged with DWI, third or more.
April 30: Chance Edward Gray, 40, intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle (August 2023); Damon J. Hart, 45, possession of a controlled substance; Robert Donald King, 64, theft of property less than $300,000 (DPS) with a $50,000 bond; Marcus Allen Williams, 39, possession of a controlled substance (Silsbee police).
April 29: Aaron Scott Work, 28, forgery, possession of a controlled substance, assault of a family member and unlawfully carrying a weapon with a $168,000 bond; Daniel Lynn Luben, 58, failure to comply as a sex offender (LPD); Kevin Wayne Mullins, 48, possession of a controlled substance and assault of a family member (Sour Lake police); Heidi Nicole Worthington, 45, DWI with a child under age 15 (LPD); Cody Allen Laurent, 28, possession of a controlled substance (LPD); Clyde Thomas Haynes Jr., 52, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (SPD); Kimberly McDonald Davis, 64, DWI; Cyrus Ray Dorn, 46, DWI (open container).
