The Beaumont Police Department (BPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in an April 29 shooting that killed one person and injured another.
At 12:29 a.m., officers were called to 3255 Elmira in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived, they located two victims in the parking lot of an apartment complex, both suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second victim, Marcus Savoy, 24, of Beaumont, was pronounced dead at the scene.
