Misty Nicole Sparks, 40, was arrested April 17 in connection with a stabbing in Deweyville, authorities said.
Sparks is accused of stabbing a man with an icepick. She was taken into custody about 10 p.m. by the Orange Police Department, according to Newton County Sheriff Colton Havard.
The incident was reported around 4:40 p.m. at a home on County Road 4190. Deputies found the victim with a stab wound to the arm.
Authorities said the incident stemmed from an argument. Sparks was booked into the Orange County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault. Her bond was set at $250,000.
