April 9, at 4:55 p.m., Beaumont Police Department (BPD) officers responded to the 3300 block of Avenue B for a reported stabbing. Officers searched the area and later located the suspect in the 2300 block of Washington Boulevard; the suspect was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Investigators determined a disturbance between two men led to the stabbing. The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
