March 18, Willie Paul Cain Jr., 26, of Beaumont, was taken into custody without incident after a large quantity of suspected marijuana and promethazine was found in a vehicle, according to the Beaumont Police Department (BPD).
At 12:35 p.m., BPD’s Special Assignment Unit (SAU), in conjunction with the Southeast Texas Violent Crimes Task Force, conducted an operation to locate a 2014 Dodge Challenger believed to be involved in an aggravated robbery earlier this month.
The vehicle, occupied by Cain, was located in the 100 block of East Virginia Street.
