The Beaumont Police Department (BPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in the investigation into the murder of Chrishiann Joy Marks, 33, of Beaumont.
March 1, at 11:37 p.m., officers responded to Pine Club Apartments, 5015 Pine St., in reference to a victim of a shooting. Arriving officers located Marks deceased inside an apartment.
At this time, investigators believe the specific apartment was the intended target and that this was not a random act.
Detectives are asking residents in the area of 5015 Pine to review personal surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity, vehicles, or individuals loitering between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. March 1. Even small details that may not seem important could help.
