Feb. 24, Nederland Police Department (NPD), with assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Division and K-9 Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of N. 25th Street after a lengthy investigation into narcotic activity at this residence.
During the warrant execution, detectives reportedly located 16 grams of crack cocaine, 28 grams of powder cocaine, and 40 grams of suspected Alprazolam (Xanax) tablets inside the residence. Evidence also indicated the suspect was manufacturing crack within the residence.
Hai Son Dinh, 48, was taken into custody and booked into the Jefferson County Correctional Facility for two counts of possession of a controlled substance (second- and third-degree felonies) and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (first-degree felony). His total bond was $250,000 and, if released, bond conditions include a drug patch, a GPS monitoring device and remaining in Jefferson County.
