Area law enforcement agencies are on the lookout for two suspects in stolen radio station van that attempted to burglarize an ATM in Evadale on Oct. 9.
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) reported that the suspects stole a “KGHY 88.5 FM The Gospel Hiway” radio station van parked at the First Baptist Church in Silsbee. According to Deputy Karli Cherry, a security camera video showed the suspects, wearing black clothing with gloves and masks, using a crowbar to pry open an outside ATM. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach the money, they headed southbound toward Orange County.
