Pedestrian killed in crash

April 28, at approximately 10:46 p.m., Beaumont Police Department (BPD) officers responded to the 400 block of MLK in reference to an auto-pedestrian crash. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased male in the roadway.

10-ton weights crash into SUV

April 17, Beaumont Police Department officers responded at 8:08 a.m. to Walden Road and Fannett Road for a traffic incident.A Toyota SUV was stopped at the intersection waiting to turn when a semitruck carrying two 10-ton weights lost its load, causing the weights to strike the rear of the SUV.
