Abbott visits Beaumont to promote early voting

Texas Governor Greg Abbott made a visit to JW’s Patio in Beaumont Feb. 17 to discuss early voting in the 2022 election.

Abbott first said one thing he loves about Southeast Texas is the energy sector, and he said he is running for re-election to “keep safe and secure our energy jobs in Texas.”

Another topic discussed was Critical Race Theory, which is something Abbott said he wants to keep out of schools.  

Abbott also said, if re-elected, he will continue construction on the US-Texas border which the state took over construction on.

Abbott concluded the event by urging his constituents to “go out to the polls” and participate in early voting.
