BPD reports murder suspect arrested

The suspect in the March 1 homicide at the Beaumont Pine Club Apartments has been arrested and charged with murder, the Beaumont Police Department (BPD) reported March 10.Timothy Bessard, 24, of Port Arthur, was in custody for murder at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility as of press time.

BPD seeking help in woman's murder

The Beaumont Police Department (BPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in the investigation into the murder of Chrishiann Joy Marks, 33, of Beaumont.March 1, at 11:37 p.m., officers responded to Pine Club Apartments, 5015 Pine St., in reference to a victim of a shooting.

Jail report reveals sexual assault arrest

Brandon Zachary Junker, 28, was arrested Feb. 26 by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) for a 2023 sexual assault warrant from Lumberton PD. At press time, Junker remained in custody under a $200,000 bond.Two more jail inmates also remain behind bars with high bond amounts.

NPD: Man nabbed on multiple drug charges

Feb. 24, Nederland Police Department (NPD), with assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Division and K-9 Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of N. 25th Street after a lengthy investigation into narcotic activity at this residence.

SETX man arrested in Kentucky for attacking wife

The Hopkinsville (Kentucky) Police Department reported a Southeast Texas man has been arrested.Feb. 22, Sonny Williams, 31, of Sour Lake, was charged with second-degree assault (domestic violence) and first-degree criminal mischief.
