Two adults, two juveniles arrested after chase

The Beaumont Police Department arrested four suspects April 25 in connection with a disturbance in a parking lot in the 6100 block of Eastex Freeway. BPD officers, along with the Southeast Texas Violent Crime Task Force, were called to the scene at 8:27 p.m.

The disturbance involved multiple individuals, including occupants of a truck reportedly brandishing firearms.

Officers attempted to detain one suspect, Kendrick Henry, 18, who fled on foot and discarded a handgun in bushes near Parkdale Mall. He was apprehended and initially provided false identifying information.

Two juveniles also fled on foot. One discarded suspected marijuana near Wells Fargo in the mall parking lot, while the other was found in possession of suspected THC. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Justice Center.

The suspect vehicle was located in the parking lot. The driver, Milton Freeman, 24, was arrested. Officers observed an AR-style pistol inside the vehicle. A probable cause search recovered an additional 9 mm handgun and another AR-style pistol.

In total, four firearms were seized, including one reported stolen.
