The Beaumont Police Department (BPD) reported a person was found dead after being shot March 24.
At 7:45 a.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of Rafes Way in reference to shots fired and located a 31-year-old male subject, identified as Joseph Manuel, inside of a residence with apparent fatal injuries.
Preliminary investigation led the description of a possible suspect vehicle. The Real-Time Crime Center utilized the city’s license plate readers and officers located the vehicle in the 5400 block of Pine Street.
Bryson Parkerson, 17, was taken into custody and charged with tampering with evidence in connection to the homicide. Additionally, a murder warrant has been issued for Corey Comeaux, 24, who investigators identified using video surveillance.
Detectives added that they believe more suspects are involved.
