Groves man federally indicted for child sex abuse material

A Groves man charged with possessing more than 500 images of child pornography is jailed on new charges.

Joshua Curtice, 43, has been released from behind bars on two counts of invasive visual recording, one count of possessing/promoting lewd visual material depicting a child, and one count of burglary.

Magistrate Marc DeRouen set total bond at $250,000.

A Jefferson County grand jury indicted Curtice this month for the first-degree felony charge of possession of child pornography.

Investigators allege Curtice had more than 500 images containing child pornography.
