The Beaumont Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in the investigation into the murder of Chrishiann Marks.
On Sunday, March 1, 2026, at approximately 11:37 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to Pine Club Apartments, located at 5015 Pine Street, in reference to a victim of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located Marks deceased inside an apartment. Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident. At this time, investigators believe the specific apartment was the intended target and that this was not a random act, a statement from BISD reported.
Detectives are asking residents in the area of 5015 Pine to review their surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity, vehicles, or individuals who may have been loitering between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. on March 1. Even small details that may not seem important could help.
