A felon in possesion of a firearm is heading to prison for more that five years. 23-year-old Christopher Eugene Stelly was arrested in September of 2025 after leading police on a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle that started on North Major Drive and ended at an apartment complex on French Road. Stelly was in possession of a firearm that was reported stolen in 2018. Stelly is a convicted felon prohibiting him from possession a firearm. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced Thursday to 63 months by U.S. District Judge Marcia crone
