PA reports COVID deaths

Dec. 4, the City of Port Arthur Health Department reported two COVID-19 related deaths in residents of Port Arthur. The individuals include a white male between the age of 75-80 and a black female between the age of 70-75.

PA reports another COVID death

Nov. 6, Port Arthur Health Department Director Judith Smith released word that another resident of the city has died due to complications related to COVID-19. This is the 40th COVID-19 related death for Port Arthur since the beginning of this pandemic.

County notes added COVID deaths

Aug. 31, the Port Arthur and Jefferson County health departments reported two additional COVID-19 related deaths – one, a Port Arthur white male resident between the ages of 80 and 85, the other a white male Nederland resident between the ages of 60 and 65.

Port Arthur reports another COVID-19 death

Aug. 20, the Port Arthur Health Department reported another COVID-19 related death in a resident of Port Arthur. The individual was an African American female between the ages of 55-60. It has been determined that the individual had underlying health conditions.

City announces additional COVID deaths

Aug. 18, the Port Arthur Health Department reported four COVID-19 related deaths in residents of Port Arthur, including three African American females between the ages of 75-80, 85-90 and 90-95. The other individual was a Hispanic male between the ages of 80-85.

Free COVID testing in Beaumont

Monday, Aug. 10, through Friday, Aug. 14, from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. the city of Beaumont will host two free mobile COVID-19 testing centers at the Central High School Girls Gym, 88 Jaguar.
