The city of Beaumont was awarded a federal grant of $801,000 to help recover from the economic fallout of the novel coronavirus outbreak, U.S. Senator John Cornyn announced April 3.

Beaumont man arrested for murder

Friday, April 3, at 9:10 a.m. Beaumont Police responded to the Seville Apartments located at 4325 Crow Rd. in reference to a disturbance involving a man assaulting a woman. When officers arrived, the suspect was still on the scene and taken into custody.
