Sex assault suspect captured in church parking lot

The Silsbee Police Department (SPD) reported a 21-year-old male was arrested for a sex crime. Shynolan Jermain Fontenot was arrested Jan. 1 for sexual assault. As of press time, Fontenot was in the Hardin County Jail with a total bond set at $200,000 by Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace Charles Brewer.
