Motorcyclist killed in early morning crash

A 42-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an early morning crash May 14, according to the Beaumont Police Department.Police said officers responded at 2:57 a.m. to the 5800 block of Calder Avenue in reference to a motorcycle crash. The driver, identified as Rashaad Coleman, was found on the ground.

Multi-vehicle crash kills five

Four people were killed in a crash involving a passenger van, passenger bus and passenger car on State Highway 87 on May 18, according to the Sgt. Shana Clark of the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). The crash occurred about 3:50 p.m. in the 3000 block of South Gulfway Drive.
