‘Wanderlust’

The Imperial Calcasieu Museum in nearby Lake Charles, Louisiana, will host an opening reception for their newest exhibit, “Wanderlust,” which features the work of Beaumont photographer Jerome Cabeen, on Friday, Aug. 25, from 6-8 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.

MMA

MMA (mixed martial arts) returns to Ford Arena on Saturday, Aug. 26, as Peak Fighting hosts their second event in Beaumont with doors opening at 5 p.m. Tickets start at $40 and can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com or the Ford Park box office (5115 Interstate 10 South).

Classic Movie Night

It’s three movies in two nights at the historic Jefferson Theatre in downtown Beaumont, including two classic movies and one premier.  A double feature of “Big Trouble in Little China” and “Kung Fu Hustle” is scheduled Friday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults.
