The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce joined elected officials at they kicked off “Salute to Workforce Month” at the Jefferson County Courthouse at the beginning of February.

Friday Morning Business Connection

The greater Beaumont area Friday Morning Business Connections are back on Friday, Jan. 20, with a new location. The meeting spot for 2023 location will be the Holiday Inn Plaza at Walden Road in the atrium area on the first and third Friday of the month at 8 a.m.

Going virtual

“As a result of the increase in the number of COVID cases,” the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce announced Aug. 9, the Jefferson County “State of the County” is moving to an all-virtual platform, “for the sake of safety.” The event is set to take place Aug. 12 from 11:50 a.m. – 1 p.m.

County luncheon canceled due to judge’s illness

“TODAY'S LUNCHEON IS CANCELED - PLEASE DO NOT COME TO FORD PARK.” Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Bill Allen reports that the CHRISTUS State of the County Luncheon, scheduled for 11 a.m. on June 25, is canceled due to the keynote speaker’s illness.
