The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce joined elected officials at they kicked off “Salute to Workforce Month” at the Jefferson County Courthouse at the beginning of February. Among the public acknowledgments, Jefferson County Judge Jeff Branick provided a county proclamation of support, and city of Beaumont Mayor Robin Mouton signed a proclamation on behalf of the city. 

In honor of the workforce celebratory occasion, the chamber is partnering with Workforce Solutions of Southeast Texas and the Beaumont Independent School District to hold events during all moth long to help promote the current workforce and showcase Southeast Texas’ efforts in continuing to build a strong talent pipeline for years to come. 

Future opportunities for youth involvement include a College, Career and Military Readiness Expo scheduled for Feb. 25 at the West Brook High School, 8750 Phelan Blvd. in Beaumont.
