The Jefferson County Office of Emergency Management issued a traffic alert for motorists traveling US 69 north through Beaumont for the next three days. According to the advisement, the inside lane of US 69 northbound from Dowlen Road to the LNVA will be closed from 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. on Feb.

The Port Arthur Police Department is asking for help in locating two individuals wanted for several counts of injury to a child: Dylan Wiggins, 27, and girlfriend, Krystal Kirbow, 37. According to PAPD, the pair has 13 outstanding warrants for felony injury to a child.
