Beaumont traffic alert

The Jefferson County Office of Emergency Management issued a traffic alert for motorists traveling US 69 north through Beaumont for the next three days.

According to the advisement, the inside lane of US 69 northbound from Dowlen Road to the LNVA will be closed from 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. on Feb. 1 – 3, due to construction. Both lanes of Highway 69 northbound in the same location will be closed overnight Thursday, Feb. 3, from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m., with traffic diverted to the frontage road.
