A Beaumont man has been indicted for murder. 25-year-old D'onte Lawrence is charged with the August 15, 2026 shooting death of Kenlyn Faulk in the 3900 block of Broadmoor in Beaumont. Faulk, who turned 43 years old the day before the shooting, was transported to the hospital where he died. Shortly after the shooting, police located the car that left the scene. It was being driven by a female who told officers she dropped Lawrence off at a residence in the 5800 block of Cole Road. Police went to that location and arrested Lawrence.
