A 16-year-old is in juvenile custody charged with deadly conduct. Hardin County Sheriff Mark Davis tells The Examiner the suspect was walking a dog Saturday afternoon (Sept 19) on Princeton Street, outside of the Lumberton city limits and became involved in a disturbance with a motorist.
"The teen reportedly pulled a gun from his waistband, fired a shot and took off running" added Sheriff Davis. There were no injuries. The suspect was located Monday morning (Sept 21). He was transported to the Hardin County Juvenile Detention Center. Additional arrests could following as the investigation continues.
