On Friday, Sept 11, a generator was stolen from a trailer at 1701 Barbecue, located at 1701 Calder in Beaumont. Through video gathered from the Beaumont Police Department's Real Time Crime Center police were able to locate the suspect's pickup leading to the arrest of 37-year-old Dement and 44-year-old Maron Ezell. Dement was arrested for traffic violation warrants and Ezell arrested for a warrant for burglary. Both men are facing charges in connection with the theft of the generator.
