In recognition of National Child Passenger Safety Week ( Sept. 20-26), the Texas Department of Transportation is brining "LOve My Car Seat" to five Texas cities. One stop will be. in Beaumont from !0:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday September 19 at Legacy Community Health, 3455 Stagg Dr.
Certified Technicians will conduct car seat demonstrations and inspections and answer parents' quesitons about correct car seat use. The event will also feature fun activities for kids in the Buckle Buddy Tent and photo opportunities at the royal Ride Car Seat Throne.
The Natonal Highway Traffic Administration has found that nearaly half 0f all car seats (46%) are used or installed incorrectly.
