Over 150 treated for possible food poisoning

Approximately 170 people were treated Wednesday morning following possible food poisoning at Golden Pass LNG in Port Arthur. Those affected purchased breakfast food from a vendor that is not part of LNG.  Judith Smith, Director of the Port Arthur Health Department tells The Examiner "Our role is to go to the scene to see how the food was prepared and where it came from. We also have our Epidemiologist contact area emergency centers checking on conditions.

Dr. Smith says symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, and stomch cramps. Golden Pass LNG is investigating.
