Aug. 26, at approximately 9:56 a.m., BPD officers responded to the 1400 block of Magnolia Street in reference to a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers reportedly located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The suspect of the shooting was identified as 36-year-old Ariel McKinney, who was taken into custody and arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
BPD reported that the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
