A $500,000 bond has been set been set on a Beaumont man charged in the death of another man. Police were called to the Sunlight Manor Apartments in the 2900 block of 8th Street Saturday morning Aug 29. When they arrived, 28-year-old Alejandro Richard was on top of an unresponsive man. The victim was transported to the hospital where he died. Richard was transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
