Thanks to a generous donation from Lumberton residents Mike and Dorthy Denton, K-9 Officers Rocco and Ranger have protective vest. "These are the top of line vests that are personally fitted for each police dog" Lumberton Chief of Police Danny Sullins told the Examiner. " The Denton's wanted to give to the police force and we appreciation the very generous for the donation." added Sullins. The vests are valued at just under $4,000 apiece.
