Lovebugs are back

Thousands of lovebugs are back in Southeast Texas. The insects can become a nuisance by covering vehicles, buildings, and outdoor ares. The lovebugs are harmless, they do not bite, sting, are not known to spread disease, and do not cause structural damage. Nate Jennings, Sales Manager for Bill Clark Pest Control, says there are simple steps to minimize the impact of lovebugs. "Keep doors closed and make sure screens are in good shape, use outdoor fans when possible, and clean the lovebugs from vehicles promptly".  Lovebug activity is seasonable and the populationn will eventually decline.
