Police have a suspect in custody for a Beaumont shooting. Police were called to the 1400 block of Magnolia just before 10:00 Wednesday morning, Aug 26. The victim was found in the street. He was transported to the hospital and was listed in critical condition. An investigation led to the arrest of 36-year-old Ariel McKinney. He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The investigation is ongoing.
