Beaumont police are investigating a Thursday morning shooting in the1400 block of Magnolia, near I-10. Police say the male victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. When The Examiner arrived, multiple police uniits had the street blocked as detectives were working at the scene. Police had placed six yellow markings in the road that may have been covering shell casings. No other information has been released.
