Arrest made in home invasion shooting

BPD detectives arrested a 30-year-old Beaumont man  Jan. 10, in connection to an earlier robbery where a group of masked men entered a home and shot a father in front of his two kids. The gunshot wound left the homeowner paralized, according to police.

A leak was reported on Monday, Jan. 13, at the TPC Group Port Neches Operations. The facility began the de-inventory process last week to further secure the site and safely transfer all remaining materials.

The city of Orange's fire department responded to a house fire at about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12. Firefighters arrived at a 1702 16th St. alley and found an abandoned home fully engulfed in flames.

A man reportedly going from store to store shoplifting in Orange was arrested for failure to identify after police caught up with him on Jan. 8, reports the Orange Police Department (OPD). OPD Officer Dylan Mulhollan reports that officers responded to the Market Basket at 2498 N. 16th St.

Masked men rob PA game room

Around 8:30 p.m. Jan. 6, PAPD officers responded to the Luxury Game Room on Woodworth Boulevard in reference to a robbery that just occurred, according to a news release. Information was received that two black males in masks, armed with guns, entered the business and demanded money.

Masked man shoots Beaumont dad in front of kids

Just before noon on Sunday, Jan. 5, BPD officers responded to the 800 block of Pipkin Street in reference to an aggravated assault, according to a news release. Upon arrival, officers located a 30-year-old Beaumont man suffering from gunshot wounds in a bedroom.
