Liverpool Legends set performance date at Jefferson Theatre

Beatlemaniacs can rejoice as the Liverpool Legends return to Beaumont on Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Jefferson Theatre. Tickets go on sale Thursday, July 1, at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com. All tickets for the previous postponed shows will be honored for this performance.

Symphony to perform inside Julie Rogers Theatre on July 4

Due to weather concerns, the Symphony of Southeast Texas will move their outdoor performance from the Downtown Event Centre to inside the Julie Rogers Theatre on Sunday, July 4. Doors open for the free concert at 7 p.m. The fireworks will be in full view as patrons leave the concert.

BPD announces Fourth of July plans

Truck on fire on I-10

An 18-wheeler on fire on Interstate 10 west bound near the downtown Beaumont exit had traffic at a standstill leading into the lunch hour on June 24.  According to police, the incident reported around 11:30 a.m. is being considered a Major Hazmat crash.
