Sunday, July 4, Independence Day, Beaumont will host the 35th Annual Fourth of July Celebration, closing several roads.
As such, a few downtown thoroughfares will be closed Sunday morning before the festivities begin, according to a news release from the Beaumont Police Department (BPD). All streets around the Event Center (700 Crockett Street) and the roads behind the Entergy Building (350 Pine Street) will be barricaded.
This will include: Crockett St from MLK to Neches, Neches from Crockett to Laurel, Jefferson from Laurel to Crockett, and Cypress from Elizabeth to Main. Please plan your routes in advance with road closures and heavy event traffic in mind.
5 p.m. Gates open at the Event Center- Food, Live Entertainment, and other Festivities
8 p.m. Symphony of Southeast Texas
9 p.m. Fireworks
