A 22-year-old Orange man was arrested for sexual assault of a child, according to the Lumberton Police Department’s (LPD) arrest report for Oct. 21-27. Dakota Leander Bailey, LPD reports, was arrested, charged with the second-degree felony, and released on bond set at $5,000 by Pct.

Murder suspect identified

Beaumont Police Department (BPD) detectives obtained a murder and aggravated robbery warrant for the suspect in a Sept. 21 robbery and subsequent shootout that occurred in the 300 block of E. Simmons. Oct. 28, BPD announced, officers named 29-year-old Carron Joseph Dickenson Jr.
