Numerous reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area of St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School and Temple Emanuel led to the arrest of a New York man, according to a Beaumont Police Department (BPD) statement.

Beginning Monday, Feb. 6, the Jefferson County District Clerk’s office will begin processing passports by appointment only from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Also, as of Jan. 23, the 2-day delivery fee to send passports has increased from $18.32 to $19.53.

The third annual Hardin County Go-Texan Valentine and Steak Dinner Scholarship Fundraiser is Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Honky Tonk in Silsbee. Tickets are $60 per person with only 200 tickets for sale. Ticket includes choice of 12 oz.
