Wanna get away? Make an appointment

Beginning Monday, Feb. 6, the Jefferson County District Clerk’s office will begin processing passports by appointment only from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Also, as of Jan. 23, the 2-day delivery fee to send passports has increased from $18.32 to $19.53.

“We plan to continue our Saturday Passport Days once every six months for individuals who can not get away during the week,” District Jamie Smith said.
